Christopher D. Jernstrom, CFA
Chris Jernstrom is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Ironstream Capital. Chris’ primary responsibilities are leading Ironstream’s sustainable investment philosophy and executing the investment process for Ironstream’s investors.
Prior to founding Ironstream Capital, Chris spent six years with Russell Investments, most recently as a senior portfolio manager specializing in managing complex multi-asset derivative portfolios for institutional clients including numerous Fortune 500 pension plans. Chris also spent eight years with HighMark Capital Management as a portfolio manager and analyst focusing on equity and fixed income portfolios for high net worth investors, endowments, and foundations. Before HighMark, Chris worked for McKinley Capital Management, concentrating on risk management and global performance attribution.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his wife, chasing his kids down the slopes of nearby ski hills, and remodeling his nearly 100 year-old house in NE Seattle.
